L’association Charles Gide pour l’Etude de la Pensée Economique s’est associée avec l’Association Française de Science Economique (AFSE) pour organiser des sessions jointes au prochain congrès annuel qui se tiendra les 19, 20 et 21 juin à Nice. Cette initiative commune représente une opportunité aux différentes communautés d’économistes de discuter de l’évolution de notre discipline. Dans cette perspective, le comité de scientifique en charge de la sélection privilégiera dans son choix les sessions qui pourront intéresser le plus grand nombre.


Le prochain Atelier « Richesse et Vertu » sur le thème : « Passions comparatives et désir de richesse », organisé par le CREM (Université de Caen) et PHARE (Université Paris 1), aura lieu le samedi 21 janvier, à la Sorbonne (salle D617, galerie Jean-Baptiste Dumas, entrée par le 1 rue Victor Cousin ou le 14 rue Cujas).

Abstract submission is now open for a conference to be held in Seville on 26-27 October 2017 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the publication of An Inquiry into the Principles of Political Œconomy (1767).
Please send an abstract of no more than 500 words to José Manuel Menudo, at jmmenpac@upo.es no later than 31 January 2017.

2018 marks the year of the bicentenary of Karl Marx's birth. On this occasion, a conference co-organized by the research centre Triangle and the European Journal of the History of Economic Thought will be held in Lyon to recall Marx's achievements as an economist and political philosopher.

The deadline for abstract and session proposals is February 28, 2017. Notification of accepted and rejected abstracts and sessions will be sent by March 15, 2016.

Proposals must be uploaded on the Submission website of the 14th Annual STOREP conference at: conference.storep.org (follow instructions by clicking on “instruction. For authors” in the right column menu).

The 21st Annual Conference of the European Society for the History of Economic Thought (ESHET) will take place in Antwerp, at the University of Antwerp, 18-20 May 2017. Proposals for papers or sessions on all aspects of the history of economic thought are welcome. An abstract of a maximum of 400 words for a paper and 600 words for a session should be submitted via the conference website: http://www.eshet-antwerp.eu


The History of Economic Thought Society is sponsoring a session at the Annual Conference of the Scottish Economic Society on the historical dimensions of economics. Papers may focus on themes drawn broadly from economic history or the history of economic thought. Methodological topics allied to these fields of inquiry are also very welcome.
